Here is an email from a client that shows our new green contractor business plan is working. At the end of last year we decided to reconfigure Eco Brooklyn to make it more effective. We had too many jobs and we struggled with keeping the quality up. As the jobs ended we stopped taking on so many new jobs. We also made our crew much smaller.
The plan was to regroup and grow with a stronger foundation. I mention this in Eco Brooklyn’s mid year report.
The first job with that strategy was this client’s and her feedback confirms that the new plan is working. She says we are like a collective, which is like saying we work as a team. That is great news. It reflects the truth that we all make up what Eco Brooklyn is. Each one of of us contributes something special to the company. Even the client helps make what our company is. Together we turn NY green.

It conveyed such a strong sense of principled growth and learning. And
I’ve been so impressed with Ian and Dan and the rest of the crew. It’s
been great getting to know you and them and everyone has been so
generous in sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for our house and
the larger project of green building. EcoBrooklyn feels like a
collective, in the best sense, and I feel very fortunate to be part of
that process. So thank you!
