New York Student Housing for Green Building Interns

Here is an email I got from a company called Educational Housing Services that offers housing for students coming to NY. Eco Brooklyn gets a lot of interns from out of town and we usually send them to Craigslist.org for their housing needs. I’ve never used Educational Housing Services but I thought I’d pass the info on in case any students find it useful.

Educational Housing Services www.studenthousing.org has been housing students and interns from around the world for 25 years (including a Brown University student who will be with Eco Brooklyn this Summer) and we offer safe, high-quality, all-inclusive housing solutions that enable residents to excel in their studies and work related endeavors.

Our residences are designed exclusively for students and our accommodations come fully furnished. Free high-speed internet, gym access, local phone and TV/cable are included, and they are located in New York City’s best and most convenient neighborhoods.

EHS Residences provide 24/7 Security Personnel, and EHS’s trained Resident Life staff is also available 24/7.  Together with the additional safety and comfort our Residence Life team provides, they offer a full calendar of social events and city excursions every week (see attached for Summer 2011 example).

This link  www.studenthousing.org/and/interns   and the attached PDF are easy ways to communicate our housing options to your interns, and this is the link to our Look Book  www.studenthousing.org/about/brochures   We look forward to hearing from and assisting any Eco Brooklyn interns who may be in need of housing now or in the future.

    Hello,
My name is Sam Marquit, I am an independent ‘green’ contractor and co-author of Fair Marquit Value I am wondering if you’re interested in featuring me on your blog because I would love a chance to speak with your readers about the idea of green building and remodeling trends.
If you think this topic, or any other for that matter, would be of interest to your readers, please let me know and I can begin drafting up something that I believe will mesh with your blog very well.
I look forward to hearing back from you; hopefully we can work together on spreading the word on important topics like this as they relate to environmental awareness!
I look forward to hearing from you,
    Sam
