Hi – I am looking at purchasing a home with an 800 square foot roofdeck. I would ideally like to build a greenroof there, something like 1/2 of the roof with garden and greenery and the other half a recycled wood or bamboo deck with maybe a pagoda that could have covering during windy days. This said, my budget is tight so I’m trying to get a sense of what something like this would cost. Do you have cost estimates for this?

    Thank you.

Hello, I came across your website while browsing for ideas on how to get hot water faster to the top-floor of a brownstone. I live in a 5th floor apartment of a brownstone in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. My husband and I are currently trying to plan a remodel of our bathroom and one of the things we would like to address if possible is getting hot water quicker, especially during the colder months. I hate to waste water while it gets hot and would love to fix this in the remodel if possible.

Also any suggestions you might have for salvaged materials (tiles/fixtures) that can be used in the remodel, would be highly appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you.
