Here is a great pdf doc on green walls. It is created by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, an excellent resource for urban green roofs and living walls.
We install living walls in Brooklyn and are constantly looking for better techniques. The art is still very new and we are still very much in the exploration phase. It is exciting and creative.

Do you have any photos of living walls? I found your site because I was looking for the name of a particular sedum and an image popped up from your site. I grow a lot of sedum(in Indiana) but have yet to grow them anywhere but on the ground.

It has a lot of living wall examples. Most of them could be applied to a Brooklyn brownstone facade by a qualified living wall installer (like us!:)
